Midnight Scribbles

Dying.. It looks so easy in the movies. A person just dies due to sickness and yet it’s been two years since the night that the fatal sickness crippled under my skin, stained my heart jet black and my clothes blood red and I’m still breathing. I wonder how my heart and lungs are still working knowing that..

….To the world I am just a worthless insect that everyone wants to crush.

To the world I am a caged animal, they point fingers at me.

To the world, I am a chewing gum under the seat that they accidentally come in contact with and are disgusted to their guts.

Take me

Kneeling down I said ,”Stop! Don’t beat her. Take me instead.”

Since that night, I live with that stranger. He call me his wife . I call him darling in public but I shout to him –

Demon! Demon!

For the devil he is!

“It’s beautiful…however I can’t fathom why you painted a face as if it were sky…” someone asked during the exhibition.

“Because the dusk sky reminds me of someone…his left eye is my source of survival like the Sun, and the right one sheds light on the dark like the Moon…he is my universe…” there was no better way for me to admit my love in public, than expressing it through art and wishing someday he’d realize the same.
